BOOST System and autopilot

BOOST, the automatic system that manages your ads, has deliberate limits. These are the things it does not do:

  • It does not publish or edit your ordinary posts. The only thing it can do with them is turn one that is doing very well into an ad, and only if you allowed it on that post.
  • It does not touch your landing pages and it does not send emails on its own. Those automations are built but not switched on for any plan yet.
  • It does not delete anything outright. It always pauses first, which is reversible, and only archives a campaign after 30 days straight of being stopped.
  • It does not undo what you did. If you pause something by hand, BOOST respects that decision and does not reactivate it. Nor does it create another campaign to replace one you paused: to let it create campaigns for that goal again, return it to autopilot or archive it. And if you reactivate an ad that BOOST stopped with the emergency pause, it does not stop it again on its own: if it keeps costing far more than usual, it suggests pausing it and you decide. Its card, in Ads, says "You reactivated it: BOOST no longer pauses it, it only suggests it". To let BOOST decide on that ad again, tap "Return to autopilot" on the same card, or approve its pause suggestion. Campaigns don't work this way: if you reactivate a campaign BOOST stopped and it keeps costing too much, BOOST may stop it again.
  • It does not act on a disconnected Meta account or on one with connection warnings pending (see «What each Meta connection warning means»).
