BOOST Engine: Understanding and Solving AI Actions
The BOOST Engine (Total Delegation, Pro and Master Plans) makes autonomous decisions (pause, rotate, adjust budgets) based on data to maximize ROAS. If an AI action seems incorrect or failed, it is usually due to a misunderstanding of the optimization cycle or a data synchronization problem.

1. Unexpected AI Actions (Strategic Decision) 🤖
The most common reason for conflict is that the AI paused a campaign or individual ad that the user perceived as "good."
- Pause due to Low Performance: The AI pauses campaigns whose CPA is consistently higher than the defined ROAS objective, even if impressions and clicks are high. The AI prioritizes net profitability.
- Rotation due to Creative Fatigue: The AI detects that an ad's frequency is too high and the CTR is dropping. Instead of pausing the campaign, it rotates the losing creative with a new one or a better-performing asset. This is a preventive health action.
- Budget Adjustment: The AI shifts the budget from low-performing Adsets or campaigns toward those that are more efficient, without requiring user intervention. This might look like a failure if a budget drop is observed in a specific campaign.
2. Execution Failures (Synchronization Issues) ⚠️
An execution failure occurs when the AI issues an order, but the platform (Meta) does not accept it or MarkettAI does not register it correctly.
If an automatic action log shows the status "Execution Error" or "Platform Failure", check your connection and the system status. Most execution failures are temporary API issues.
3. Manual Override of AI Actions
The user always has the final control. If you disagree with an AI decision (e.g., it paused a campaign), you can override it.
- Resume Campaign/Ad: Simply switch the ON/OFF toggle of the paused item within MarkettAI.
- Impact on AI: A manual override is a feedback signal for the AI. MarkettAI will wait 48 hours before attempting to execute the same action, giving you time to justify your decision with an insight or objective correction.
