Troubleshooting

The questions that come up most when starting out with Markettai:

Do I need to know marketing to use Markettai?
No. The sign-up chat walks you through it and the AI handles the technical part; you review and confirm.
What if I do not have a website?
During sign-up we may offer to find your business on Google to suggest your line of business and your area, which you review before saving. If that step doesn't appear or your business doesn't show up, you fill in your brand, your business and your area by hand, with no address to analyse (see «What happens when you sign up and why we ask you questions»).
Can I switch from guided mode to expert mode?
Only from the Pro plan upwards. On Free, Core and Starter the app stays in guided mode (see «Switching between guided and expert mode»).
Where is the Templates screen?
It no longer exists. The design of what the AI generates comes from Markettai's visual styles, which adapt to your colours and your text. If you create a post by hand, you still choose its design from the available templates.
What do I do if a screen says “We couldn’t show this screen”?
Something failed while drawing it, but the menu and the rest of the app keep working. Press Try again; if it comes back, go to another section and return, or reload the page. If it only offers Reload page, for example with “There is a new version of Markettai”, we published an update while you had the app open: after reloading you are on the new version. If the problem repeats, open “Details for support”, press Copy ID and attach it when you write to us.
How long does a change suggested by the automatic system take to go live?
It depends on your plan and your settings. On Free, Core and Starter it always waits for your approval. On Pro and Master it can run on its own, if you have automation switched on (see «What each plan automates»).
Can I reject a suggestion?
Yes. Once rejected, the system will not propose the same thing again for 14 days.

What happens if my Meta account disconnects?
The automatic system stops acting on your ads and your pages until you reconnect it.
Do AI credits expire?
The monthly credits from your plan renew every month and do not carry over (see «AI credits and what happens when they run out»).
Does the assistant use AI credits?
No. It has its own daily message limit (see «What it uses up from your plan»). Asking it to generate an image or a video is another matter: that does spend credits.
Can I have several pages and ad accounts connected at once?
Yes, as many as you like, and you manage them all from your profile.
What if two people ask me for the same hour?
From your page's form, both can ask you for the same hour: that is a preference, not a booking. The hour is taken when you confirm the appointment in your calendar, and from that moment it cannot be given away twice (see «Why you cannot give away the same hour twice»).
Can I block an hour so that nobody gets it?
Yes, with a block from your calendar. It takes the slot exactly as an appointment does.
Does Markettai remind my customers before the appointment?
Not yet. An automatic email goes out when someone leaves their details (see «What your customer receives when they leave their details»), but reminders before the appointment are down to you.
Do I have to watch the app all day?
No. The higher your plan, the more the system decides on its own, but even on the lowest one it watches your ads and stops any that are bleeding money.
Why will it not let me save my published page?
Because the payment link is still the test one and would not really charge. Swap it for the final one and you will be able to save.
Can I edit what the AI generates before publishing it?
Yes, always. In Posts, Ads and Landings you review and edit the result before saving or publishing it.
Why does my carousel only give me one option and not three?
Because a carousel is a sequence with a beginning and an end, not three loose alternatives. It is intentional.
Can I email my contacts from my own address?
Yes. You choose the part before the at sign and Markettai gives you the full address on a shared domain (see «User settings»). Whoever receives it sees your name and replies to you.
What if I try to send an email without having set up an address?
The send fails with a clear warning. It never goes out in your name from an address that is not yours.
