Application modules
In guided mode you have a single budget for all your advertising: what you want to spend per day across all your campaigns. To change it:
- Go to Ads.
- Press the gear button next to "Add ad". On mobile it is called "Config".
- "Campaign configuration" opens. Under "Global budget", change the "Daily Budget".
- Press "Save".
The change reaches Meta right away and Markettai spreads the amount across your active campaigns. It is what you spend per day on average: on a given day Meta may spend up to 75% more, but never more than 7 times that amount in the week (see «How much budget to set, when to raise it and when to cut»). If you change it mid-week, Meta recalculates what it has left to spend from the new amount and the days left until Saturday.
There is a minimum for your campaigns to be able to run. If you go below it, the app tells you, offers "Use minimum" and does not let you save that budget until you raise it. If you only want to change something else in that window, you can save without touching the budget.
What you decide wins: if BOOST had a budget change ready for one of those campaigns before yours, it drops it. How much to spend, when to raise it and when to cut it is explained in «How much budget to set, when to raise it and when to cut».
Two things worth knowing:
- On the home screen of the Pro, Master and Agency plans there is another daily budget control. In guided mode it does the same as the one in Ads. In expert mode it spreads the total across all your active campaigns, including the ones you created yourself, so you can raise or lower everything at once (for example, in a busy season) without editing each campaign. In both modes, if that amount would leave a campaign below Meta's daily minimum, nothing is changed and the app tells you which amount would work.
- In expert mode each campaign has its own budget. Open the campaign, go to "Campaign Details", change the budget and save. That change only affects that campaign, reaches Meta right away and BOOST respects it just like in guided mode (see «Switching between guided and expert mode»).
