The Performance screen is where you see how you are doing: your campaign numbers and everything the automatic system has done for you while you were not looking (see «How to see what it did last night»).

In guided mode the view gets to the point and puts that automatic activity summary first. In expert mode the full version opens, with finer numbers such as what each click costs you, what getting a customer costs you and where on your page people drop out (see «Switching between guided and expert mode»).

The most common mistake when starting out is coming here looking for up-to-the-minute data. Some of the numbers arrive grouped by day, so something that just happened can take until the next day to show up in full.
