In your pages' settings there is a "Discount Coupons" tab where you create local codes: a code, whether it takes off a percentage or a fixed amount, and how much.

A local code is not deducted from any online payment. Your customer brings it to you, and you apply the discount when they sign up. They can bring it in two ways:

  • In the link. Share your page with `?code=` and the code at the end, for example `yourbusiness.mkti.live/?code=SUMMER25`. Anyone who comes in through that link carries it.
  • In the form. While you have at least one active code, the form on your pages shows an optional "Promo code" field.

In Clients, every customer who brought a code shows it as a tag next to their name, and each code's card counts how many customers have used it. If a customer mistypes the code, they get no tag, but what they typed is kept on their record.

If you charge with a Stripe payment link and want the discount applied at checkout, also create the code in your Stripe account and turn on "Allow promotion codes" on that link. Markettai cannot do it for you because it has no access to your Stripe account.
